Polymer Innovation Network – Wednesday 12th October 2016, 6.00pm – 9.00pm

The Polymer Innovation Network (PIN) is back this October. PIN is a unique networking event for the plastics industry based at the University’s International Institute for Product and Service Innovation (IIPSI), with over 100 active members. Find out about the latest materials research from WMG, at the University of Warwick, current industry trends, and future technologies while meeting and collaborating with like-minded businesses.

The theme for October's event is Skills and will pick up on some of the key issues arising from the recently published CBI/Pearson Education and Skills Survey 2016 which confirmed:

'Businesses need increasing levels of skills among their employees - and the skills-sets in demand tomorrow will be different from those required today'. In addition, the same report concluded that '63% of SMEs fear that in the coming years there will not be enough people to fill their high-skill jobs'.
