The WMG SME Team at the University of Warwick are bringing together two of their established network groups - "Internet of Things Midlands" and the "Polymer Innovation Network" for a unique event to be held on the evening of Wednesday 7th May at the International Institute for Product and Service Innovation.

By bringing together makers, developers and innovators in both groups, the event will lead to a number of interesting business opportunities and highlight just what is possible in terms of connecting products and services to the Internet. The agenda focusses on the technologies and processes required to make a static product more functional.

Confirmed speakers include head of Additive Layer Manufacturing (3D Printing) at WMG, Dr Greg Gibbons as well as leaders from injection moulding company Goodfish Ltd and international design agency DCA Design. As part of the event attendees will also be able to find out how they can access free and funded assistance to support novel product development.
