The team based at the International Institute for Product and Service Innovation, an ERDF funded building, provides small and medium sized businesses with a range of assistance including workshops, customised company projects, support with funding applications and access to skills. They have expertise in a range of technology areas including product prototyping, low volume manufacture, recycling and re-use of plastics materials and plastic electronics, user centred design, digital user experience, cloud applications, data intelligence, smarter social media, All of the areas required to ensure SMEs are developing the most leading edge products and services possible.
The breakfast event will provide a snapshot of the expertise available and will offer SMEs the opportunity to sign up for further support to help their businesses. Through the course of the morning there will be presentations on the areas of innovation support including putting the customer at the centre of innovation, insight into emerging manufacturing technologies and how to benefit from the latest digital tools.
