Warwick Racing are a team of ambitious and extremely talented fourth year engineering students undertaking the complete design, manufacture and assembly of a single seat racing car to compete at the annual Formula Student UK competition at Silverstone in July 2014.
One of their biggest challenges this year involves their participation in the Formula SAE-Australasia competition in Australia this December, following a newly formed alliance with Monash University, Melbourne. With five members of the team accompanying the WR3 car there for three weeks, and the potential for further participation at Formula Student Germany in July 2014 depending on available funds, Warwick Racing truly is announcing itself on the international stage.
In order to make this happen they are looking for sponsorship from companies within the West Midlands. They are predominantly in need of financial support but will also potentially consider support in the form of free materials, parts and use of facilities. Also, as outlined in their Sponsorship Opportunities 2013/14 brochure, any support offered to us is rewarded.
They usually display partnersÂ’ logo on the car, throughout the assembly area and website and in all promotional material. They also invite all sponsors to events including the official launch event in the summer where the car is unveiled just before the competition at Silverstone in July. All sponsors also receive our monthly newsletter and updates throughout the year.
