Small and medium sized businesses are invited to WMG at the beautiful University of Warwick campus to find out what support is available to them on Wednesday 3rd July, 2013.
The WMG SME Team are hosting an evening of networking for regional businesses, partners and University staff. It will provide attendees with the chance to meet new faces, build business and partnership opportunities while finding out about the latest development at WMG - The International Institute for Product and Service Innovation (IIPSI).
IIPSI is WMG's newest building funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the University of Warwick. It is a centre for small and medium sized companies (SMEs) in the West Midlands region to come and explore the latest product and service technology available to them. A funded support programme runs out of the building including the delivery of workshops, company projects and technical demonstrations.
During the networking evening you will be able to speak to members of the WMG SME team who have expertise in digital, manufacturing and experience led design as well as companies that have already worked with the team on successful projects. You will also have the opportunity to have a tour around the building to see what technology we have available for businesses to use including an Xtrutech XTS19 twin screw compounding extruder, a Battenfeld Injection Moulder– 5T and a one of its kind Hybrid Nano Additive Layer Manufacturing Machine.
A BBQ and refreshments will be served during the event.
