Additive Manufacturing Seminar with MTA and Jaguar Land Rover open for Registration

Additive Manufacturing - The Future 

WMG in collaboration with the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) and Jaguar Land Rover are offering manufacturers in the West Midlands the opportunity to attend a free seminar to discover new technologies in the area of additive manufacturing (3D Printing). 

The event, running on 13th June will feature the following presentations:

  • Automotive Responses to 3D Printing by James Buchanan, Product Development Engineer, Jaguar Land Rover.
  • Current & Future 3D Printing Applications, Dr Greg Gibbons, Head of Additive Layer Manufacturing Research, WMG.
  • Capabilities & Support Available, Dr Mark Swift, Head of Small Business Programmes, WMG.

In addition to the presentation, attendees will be able to attend a hands-on workshop in the afternoon that will show how systems can be set up to move from prototyping to production. Information will also be available about the funded support available to West Midlands SMEs around additive manufacturing technologies at the International Institute for Product and Service Innovation.
